Why have sponsors?
With every contest we’ve ever had (and plan to have), we’ve offered prizes. Why? Because we get more entries, the entries keep getting better, and the contest just seems like more fun. Sponsors simply help with the cost of the contest and its prizes, in exchange for advertising to thousands of possible customers.
If we sponsor a contest, what do we get?
- You get a graphic link in our right sidebar (300 x 150px). It will be displayed here for the duration of the contest, and all sponsors will share this position.
- You’ll get occasional nods in posts and pages dedicated to the contest, as well as one post dedicated specifically to your product/site.
- Finally, if you do not have an ad, we will gladly make one for you by copying your website’s logo, and fitting it in the correct dimensions. We are happy to do it!
Your website must be safe for work (and children).
If we sponsor a contest, where does our fee or donation go?
100% of all donated prizes go directly to the prize pool. Your products (gift certificates, new books, new modules, new dice, downloads, new accessories, etc.) are simply included with the prizes. Alternatively, should you opt for a sponsorship fee instead, we will convert some or all of that fee into prizes. The rest of the fee (or all of it) may go to helping cover the costs of the contest (like for the shipping of prizes).
And how much is the sponsorship fee?
The suggested minimum sponsorship fee is $10, either in cash or donated prize(s). We’re happy to accept all donations, of course! Those sponsors with the larger donations would naturally get premium ad placement within posts and pages that are dedicated to the contest, as well as the sidebar.
