Check it out!

These are some of the 3D Terrain sets and pieces that we’ve been using in our home games, and a few of them have made it to John’s convention games.  They’ve seen some use, and gotten a lot of love.  Updated versions of what you see here will soon be available at the Shack, because they’re just too cool not to be!  Also, we have a whole line of additional sets that we can’t show you here just yet, so stay tuned!

Chris Stevens

In Chris's opinion, the very best vices are dirt bikes, rock music, and gaming, while the very best medicine is fatherhood. If he could just learn to balance them all, he'd live forever. He's much more creative than intelligent, often wakes up belligerent, and ponders many things insignificant. Lastly, in an effort to transform his well-fed body, P90X, Roller Blades, and Food are all laughing at him. And the pain continues.

  1. . . . awesome XD

  2. Very cool. I’ve always been a little bit jealous of people who use 3-D Terrain. Because I don’t host our games in my home, its never seemed practical to me.

  4. Neat. The fort and the portal look neat and I like the little platform in the middle of the ruins.

  5. This is 15 different kinds of win. I love the portal actually. That is really great. Do the large pieces break down into smaller bits for storage and transpo or are they pretty much only the way you see them.

  6. For the 2ft x 2ft sets, we’re experimenting with them breaking down for ease of transport and for variety in map terrain. The trick is making them versatile enough for different scenarios, yet keeping them looking cool and sturdy. In the end, some will be completely solid, and others will break down.

  7. I love sets like this. I just wish they could be affordable. I have an insane amount of uses for them…for any game. How long does it take to setup a terrain?

Are these thing collapsible or do they come in one piece?

  8. Alton, what is your idea of “affordable”. I’m curious to know what others think as well…
