Are you my mummy?

Are you my mummy?

If you were thinking of getting any gaming accessories, now is the time to do it, because all of our profits will be going to Vijay…

Ok, so I don’t know Vijay personally, but I do know that he’s a gamer (he’s contributed two posts here at the Shack – one was for a contest, and the other was just because he had something to say). Anyway, he recently had a very big medical scare (apparently, a large mass in the chest and the heart being surrounded by excess fluid can do that sometimes… ok, it’ll do that every time).

Vijay is feeling a bit better now after his first immediate surgery. They’re doing that “what is this mass made of” test, but for the most part he’s on the recovery side of the hill (as I understand it).

So, I’m starting a fundraiser. It’s the “Are you my mummy?” Vijay Copay Fundraiser, and I’ll be putting every lick of profit from our store into it. I will also be including our affiliate earnings from our DriveThruRPG and Amazon links. This fund is going directly to Vijay and his lovely wife Katy to help with their hospital copays and missed-work earnings.

[By the way… “Are you my mummy” references the awesome TV show, Doctor Who?]

If you were considering getting some of our Horse Minis or Mini Counters (which are the most awesome of gaming accessories evah), now is the time to do it! What better way to buy something than if that purchase contributes to a gamer’s recovery?

Here are a few items for download at DrivethruRPG that gamers have bought through our site. Even if you simply click one of these items and then make a different purchase, our fundraiser will still gain the credit.

In Chris's opinion, the very best vices are dirt bikes, rock music, and gaming, while the very best medicine is fatherhood. If he could just learn to balance them all, he'd live forever. He's much more creative than intelligent, often wakes up belligerent, and ponders many things insignificant. Lastly, in an effort to transform his well-fed body, P90X, Roller Blades, and Food are all laughing at him. And the pain continues.

  1. Ordered my Mini Counters! These look so cool! I can’t wait. Get better Vijay!

  2. I aim to roleplay in the ‘verse. Got me a copy of the new Firefly game!

  3. Thanks, guys!

  4. I’m really excited to receive my just-ordered horse minis! It took a long time to find (hopefully) usable horses at a reasonable price. I hope Vijay has a speedy recovery.
