Olympus, IncI enjoy movies like Legion, Hackers, Underworld, and Solomon Kane, and I enjoy games like Leverage, Spycraft, Cyberpunk, and Shadowrun.  So, to see a game like Olympus, Inc. getting Kickstarted, well, just sort of makes my day…

Real quick:

The Olympian gods were kicked out of the Heavens long ago and forced to live among humans.  Today, their only path of deliverance is to fight the Titans in the shadows of the modern world, all in the hopes of regaining their rightful place.  Backed by the largest corporations, the Olympian demigods fight their war in secret, with humans none the wiser.

Awakened demigod characters, espionage, punk attitudes, super abilities, shadow war… it’s all a mix of some of my favorite roleplaying genres and tropes, so you can bet I’m going to get a copy of this game.  Plus, it’s a Savage Worlds setting, so you know that it has an established and solid game system backing it up.

Olympus, Inc. is being produced by Fabled Environments, and (more specifically) written by Charles White and Gilbert Gallo.  You can check out a preview of the game through Google Docs, or from DriveThruRPG.

At this point, Olympus, Inc. is almost funded.  Now, I don’t usually promote Kickstarter projects, but when I find one that makes me sit up and read into it, well, let’s just say that I’m really looking forward to this game.

If this is your type of thing, then check it out here and please consider backing it, because I want to play it.  😉

In Chris's opinion, the very best vices are dirt bikes, rock music, and gaming, while the very best medicine is fatherhood. If he could just learn to balance them all, he'd live forever. He's much more creative than intelligent, often wakes up belligerent, and ponders many things insignificant. Lastly, in an effort to transform his well-fed body, P90X, Roller Blades, and Food are all laughing at him. And the pain continues.

  1. Yes, I want to see this be produced as well as it also hit several of my sweet spots.
