Hmmm, I had never even heard of these until this post. These sound like they would be a pretty cool prize!
I use Alea Tools all the time when I GM. Love them. Wanna remember which monsters were held? Slap a purple marker under ’em! Wanna remember which PC is poisoned? Slap a green marker under ’em! Tired of your PCs asking which orc has been hit already or how badly hurt the otyugh looks? Use yellow, orange and red markers to indicate it. Just remember to warn your players that the sword cuts both ways. They need to mark their damage level. Smart enemies will gang up against those already hurt.
