Even if you’re not a fan of comic books you’ve probably heard of Morgan le Fay. She was the student and then nemesis of the famous wizard Merlin. She’s also battle the legendary King Arthur, and depending on whose telling the story was alos his lover and/or sister.
Marvel takes these roots and runs with them. In the main Marvel Universe Morgan is an immortal villain who never stopped at the end of the age of swords and dragons. She’s versed in several traditions of magic including Norse and Celtic Mythos. She’s got grand goals, including world domination, and she’s not afraid to time travel or alter reality to achieve those goals.
Which leads us to why you want to use Morgan le Fay in your game. Well there’s a little thing called the Cortex Plus Hacker’s Guide. It was a Kickstarter project that finished successfully a few weeks ago. One of the hacks that its bringing to your table is Fantasy Heroic Roleplaying. It uses the same rules as Marvel Heroic Roleplaying, but simulates a more traditional fantasy setting akin to Dungeons & Dragons. You may not want to interrupt your current Marvel campaign just to play with these new options, and with Morgan le Fay as your villain you don’t have to.
Introducing Queen’s Vengeance, or Earth 398. Using the power of the Twilight Sword and the Scarlet Witch, Morgan le Fay twisted the world into her ideal, Middle Ages variant where she rules and the Avengers serve. You can check out more about the plot by following the link but its the perfect setup for some fantasy exploration. It’s also a great excuse to have your players do battle against the Avengers. After all they’re being mind controlled and someone’s got to remind them what being an Avenger is all about!
You can read about Morgan le Fay on the Marvel Wiki. Grab the PDF or Word Doc of this file.

You had me at time travel. I actually have not heard of Morgan but she sounds like a very interesting character for the game. Enjoyed the post Brian.
